We’re still buzzing about our Caulfield Cup win, but it’s not the only cause for excitement in the office – the Melbourne Cup is less than a week away.
Despite Descarado’s 1 ½ kilogram penalty and some pretty stiff competition we have nothing but the highest hopes for him. If he takes out the Cup, he will be only the twelfth horse to have won both the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups.
What a coup that would be for Henderson Syndicate Racing. We leave him in the capable hands of Gai Waterhouse, who has done an amazing job – wish us luck!

Growing up in a ‘real estate’ family, it was inevitable that at some stage I would become a second generation Real Estate Agent myself. I entered the family business in 2001 after 7.5 years in the banking industry. My family has been in the Mermaid Beach Real Estate industry for the past 35 years and we are the top real estate office in our area. Working alongside my brothers, I find that our combined knowledge of real estate has contributed to our success and my own personal growth within the industry as an experienced sales agent and auctioneer.
It was no surprise that in 2009 and 2008 Luke and his brother Andrew were awarded the title as the best sales team in Australia, on top of countless other awards over the past several years.
